Event Build well underway
The event build for the Ingliston Revival both on and off the track is well under way.
On-track, the entire area at Arena has been re-graded, widened and new tarmac has been put down to create a continuous track. The area between Caravan and Southstand has also been completely re-surfaced. White lines are being painted and fences, telegraph poles and gates have been removed to ensure safe running of the re-instated track.
Off track, a 600-seat grandstand has been built next to the back straight overlooking the hairpin and ‘lefthander’. Two over bridges are being built at ‘lefthander’ and The ‘Esses’ to ensure good public access, 690 straw bails are being placed for safety and over 1000 barriers and fences are being installed at the venue.
As the event weekend draws closer, two bars, stages, catering outlets, manufacturer hospitality trailers, marquees, event branding and signage will be installed ready for the press and manufacturer day on Friday and the public weekend taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
The investment from the Ingliston Revival event organiser and the Royal Highland Centre venue demonstrates our joint commitment to the event which recognises Scotland’s original racing circuit on its 50th Anniversary.
