Ultima GTR

Ultima GTR

The Ultima GTR has been crowned as the quickest production car in the world, beating the likes of the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo and McLaren F1 to a plethora of world speed acceleration and deceleration records.

The Ultima GTR has also been independently timed around the Top Gear test track and was found to be a blistering 6.2 seconds per lap faster than the £450,000 Ferrari Enzo and 4.0 seconds per lap faster than the £1.5million Bugatti Veyron SS, staggering the onlookers witnessing the remarkable feat!

The Lotus Espirit is a sports car that was built by Lotus between 1976 and 2004.  The silver Italdesign concept that eventually became the Espirit was unveliled in 1972 as a concept car.

In 1996 Lotus introduced the Espirit V8 model which had a top speed of over 175mph and could go from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds

Porsche 918 Spyder

Porsche 918 Spyder

One of only 918 cars built until 2015, the petrol- hybrid Porsche 918 is is powered by a 4.6 litre V8 engine, boosted with two KERS derived electric motors delivering a combined output of 887 horsepower.

In performance terms, 0-62 mph is a thoroughly impressive (and quick) 2.5 seconds and the car carries on to a top speed of 210 mph. The 918 holds the fastest ever lap recorded by a road-legal car at the infamous Nürburgring.
